Privacy Policy
What this website collects, why, and the choices you have.
Who we are
This website, securityguardrhodeisland.com, is operated by Rhode Island Security Guards ("we", "us"). You can reach us at 401-289-9900 or through the contact page.
Information you give us
When you submit a form we receive what you enter:
- Proposal and contact forms: name, organization, email, phone, property address and municipality, property type, the services and schedule you are interested in, and anything you write in the free-text fields.
- Careers form: name, contact details, city or town, work area and availability preferences, the experience and credentials you describe, your answer about driving eligibility, and a resume if you attach one.
Please do not send Social Security numbers, driver's license numbers, financial account details, or copies of identification through this website.
Information collected automatically
Each form submission includes the page it was sent from, the time, and basic technical information such as your browser type and IP address, which is used to detect spam and abuse. The server that hosts the site keeps standard access logs.
The site loads its typefaces from Google Fonts, so your browser makes a request to Google when a page loads. The site does not currently set advertising or analytics cookies. If analytics or conversion tracking is added, this policy will be updated before it is enabled.
How we use information
- To respond to your request, prepare proposals and provide services.
- To consider job applicants and contact them about employment.
- To protect the site and our forms from spam and misuse.
- To meet legal obligations.
We do not sell personal information.
How information is handled
Form submissions are transmitted over an encrypted connection to a workflow system that validates them and delivers them by email to our staff, and may add them to our customer records. Service providers that host or process this information on our behalf may have access to it only to perform those functions.
We may disclose information if required by law, or to protect the safety, rights or property of our clients, our personnel or the public.
Retention
We keep inquiry and application information for as long as it is needed for the purpose it was provided, and as required for business and legal record-keeping.
Your choices
You may ask what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, subject to legal requirements. Call 401-289-9900 or use the contact page.
Children
This website is intended for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Changes
We may update this policy as the website or our practices change. The current version is always posted on this page.
