Accessibility Statement
We want this website to be usable by everyone, including people who use assistive technology.
Our approach
This site was designed and built with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA as its reference. We do not claim formal certification. We treat accessibility as ongoing work and welcome reports of problems.
What we have done
- Pages use semantic HTML with a logical heading order, landmarks and a skip link.
- Navigation menus, accordions and forms can be operated by keyboard, with a visible focus indicator.
- Text and interactive elements are checked for color contrast, and color is not the only way information is conveyed.
- Form fields have visible labels, and errors are described in text next to the field and summarized at the top of the form.
- The coverage map is a set of ordinary links, and every location is also listed in a text directory.
- Images have text alternatives, and decorative graphics are hidden from assistive technology.
- Animation is reduced or removed when your device is set to reduce motion.
- Layouts adapt to small screens and to enlarged text without horizontal scrolling.
Known limitations
On narrow phone screens the visual coverage map is replaced by the county list and text directory, which contain the same links. Resume uploads rely on your browser's standard file picker.
